The September 30th, 2021 deadline for the Provider Relief Fund Period 1 reporting has already passed. However, there is still time to submit your report. Due to COVID-19 cases and natural disasters, a 60 day grace period has been allowed for submitting your report and coming into compliance.
What this means is even if a provider did not meet the September 30th deadline, recoupment or other actions will not be taken during this grace period. You will still be considered “out of compliance” if you did not meet the original deadline, but this will give you some time to submit reports and return any unused funds.
It is strongly suggested that providers return unused funds as soon as possible after submitting the report, and all unused funds must be returned within 30 days after the end of the grace period.
The grace period will last from October 1 to November 30, 2021. More information on reporting can be found here.
